One of the things I love about teaching Business English is I learn so much from my students. In fact I suspect I’ve often learnt more from this lesson, than my learners. What about you? Have you taught it? And what might a prototypical lesson for pre-work learners be like?

We’ll be exploring this topic and many more in the iTDi course on ‘Breaking Into Business English’. It’s a 4 week online course and we’ll be having our first ‘live’ webinar this Sunday (July 6th, 2014). Click here for more details. Oh, and did I tell you? You can also get certified!

  1. Every good teacher learns more from their students than vice versa. In medical education they have a slogan for learning procedures: “see one, do one, teach one”; in other words, you don’t really know how to do something until you have taught someone else to do it.

  2. That’s so true, John!
