  1. Dear Ms Hollet

I have used your Meeting Objectives Video tape very successfully. The video tape quality is getting worse due to wear and tear so I would like to get the DVD. However, it seems to be out of stock. Do you know if it will be re-released soon?

    Kind regards

  2. Thanks for getting in touch Franz. I have written to OUP asking what’s up and hopefully they will be able to help.

  3. Dear Ms Hollet
It looks like I’m the only teacher to use VHS video tapes at our FE College. As they are going to scrap all video players here I’ll have to switch to DVDs. Sadly enough your awesome “Meeting Objectives” is not available on DVD on the German market. Can you help?
    Best wishes

  4. Oh sorry to hear that Michael. I’ll contact my editors at Oxford University Press and see if they can help.

  5. Dear Ms Hollet,

I’ve been unsucessful at laying my hands on the activity book. Can you help?

    kind regards

  6. Oh I’m sorry to hear that. Can you tell me where you’re based and I’ll pass the request onto my publishers.

  7. I’m based in France. And I apologise for misspelling your surname.

  8. Oh don’t worry about it at all. I’ve written to OUP and asked if they can help.

Michael, I have written to OUP twice about your request as well,… well, three times now, but I’ve had no response. I hope they’ve been able to get a DVD to you and they just forgot to mention it to me.

  9. Dear Ms Hollett,

Is there any way to access your DVD online?

I`d really like to use the video clip about board meetings (Chapter 4, I think) in an upcoming class, but I can`t seem to order your DVD anywhere in Japan. I know it`s a bit of a long shot, but I thought I`d ask anyway!

    Best wishes,

  10. Hi Lucy. Thanks for writing and thanks for asking.

I’m afraid I have no quick fix for this but I’m working towards solving this problem. Just before Christmas I learnt the video is out of print so I applied to OUP for the rights to license and distribute it. Hopefully they will give me the go ahead, and then I will be able to start offering it as a digital download at my video website: I’ll write and tell them we have one potential customer already! 🙂

  11. Dear Vicki,
I’ve been using your Meeting Objectives for so many years now and I still enjoy watching it and working with it as much as my students do. Unfortunately the tape got worn out (so did the equipment). Is there any way I could get it on a DVD? It’s really important to me,
    Best wishes,
    Viola (Poland)

  12. Viola, I’m afraid there isn’t BUT….. OUP recently agreed to license the rights to the video to me and hope to have it up for sale at the Simple English Videos Store in the new year.

  13. Dear Vicki,
I used your Meeting Objectives tapes for many years but my VHS is dead and I’ve moved on to digital technology. Is there a digital version available anywhere?
    Thanks for your answer.
    Best Wishes,
    F. Storey

  14. Hi,
I have licensed the videos from OUP and hope to have downloadable versions up at the store at this week! So glad you like them and thank your for writing.

  15. Hi Vicki

I am happy I came across this page as I would love to get a copy of the family meeting segment in your meeting objectives. However, the link you have provided does not take me to the video.

    Can you help at all?

  16. Hi Vicki,

Please let me know how I can get hold of a digital version (or DVD) of Meeting Objectives. All the episodes are so well thought out and students and teachers alike have fun using them.

    Alison Davies

  17. Hi Alison, I’m very sorry but the DVD is out of print and I can’t help you.

  18. Hi Vicki,

That is too bad.Can you suggest or recommend any other visual aid that can replace Meeting Objectives?

  19. You might find these videos we’ve made helpful: //
The features and benefits video, for example is very like the Meeting Objectives skits.
